Career
Richard was educated at High Storrs Grammar
School, Sheffield and Liverpool University, he
graduated in Law in 1968. Articled in Macclesfield
and being admitted as a solicitor in 1971. He
practised initially in Macclesfield, then for
almost 20 years in Congleton, before joining Wains
in 1999. He was a past President of Macclesfield
Law Society.
Personal
Born in 1946, Richard is a keen sportsman,
particularly interested in athletics, football,
rugby and latterly golf. For relaxation his interests
include music, reading and the theatre.
Roland
Nightingale
Much prefers to be known as
Robin Nightingale.
Consultant practising in all
aspects of matrimonial work, children matters
and criminal, including motoring matters.
Career
Robin attended Stockport Grammar School,
Stockport, Cheshire thereafter the College of
Law in Guildford.
Robin was a former partner for
many years in a firm with offices in Altrincham,
Stockport, Poynton and Reddish. Admitted as a
solicitor in 1972, he joined the firm in 2001
and subsequently became a consultant, having initially
been a locum solicitor.
Robin is a member of the Solicitors
Family Law Association. Robin also sits as a member
of Committee of the Legal Services Funding/Cost
Review in Manchester and was until relatively
recently a member and past President of the Rotary
Club Alderley Edge and Bollin Valley and in addition
was a founder member of that Club.
Personal
Robin’s interests include gardening and
relaxing at the seaside. He is married with grown
up children.
